motoe354 Motorola unveils the MOTOROKR EM35Last Tuesday, cellular phone giant Motorola unveiled their latest handset, the MOTOROKR EM35. The EM35 is a quad-band GSM slider phone with a 2.2 inch display with 240 x 320 resolution.

Like most Motorola phones, the EM35 is built for calling and listening to music. As you can see, the scroll wheel resembles a certain controller on a popular PMP from Apple. The EM35 even has a built-in FM tuner, and the sound can be listened to over the integrated dual speakers. The user also has the option of using wired 3.5mm headphones, or wireless Bluethooth headphones.

The EM35 is made to connect to the web with all the support for popular instant messenger mobile programs, plus a web browser with Windows Media Player 11. These online applications come in handy in working with the MOTOMUSIC application that will enable users to listen to music and browse an online music store simultaneously. The FM radio also has RDS support for identifying songs, genres, and artists.

As for memory, the EM35 has 110MB of built-in memory, and it can be expanded with a microSDHC card of up to 32GB. Of course, it also comes with a 3.1 megapixel camera with a zoom function for videos and still shots.

My source does not really have a price or a release date, but it does know that it should be available to consumers sometime before the year’s end on AT&T and T-Mobile.

From what I know most cell phones do have a feature wherein it allows you to connect to the internet. I think that won’t make an impact if the price is too high. People aren’t going to buy anything that has the same feature as their old cell phones. This is because of the economic recession that the world is facing.
