In 1997 Brett Fisher founded The Hits Doctor, a search engine optimization and pay per click marketing firm. He has over 11 years of search engine optimization experience and has been working in interactive media for over 17 years.

Brett's prior experience includes Manager of SEO for Sapient/Planning Group where he managed a team of SEO/SEM analysts to create and maintain the following corporations' search campaigns from 2002-2007: Citibank, CitiFinancial, Celebrity Cruises, Education Connection, and many other large and small businesses.

Brett Fisher has been working in interactive media since 1990. A graduate of Penn State University, Brett developed interactive kiosks and computer based training applications for his family owned and operated interactive agency, Design Mirage, while in college.

After graduation, Brett worked as a consultant for companies such as Rite Aid, Pfizer, and Citibank doing relational database development and computer graphics. He started building and optimizing websites in 1996.

From 1997- 1999 he helped to manage J.D. Edwards corporate website in Denver, Colorado and was a Java/ASP developer for J.D. Edwards corporate Intranet and e-commerce solutions. He then moved to ECOMM Systems, an e-commerce start up, building and optimizing e-commerce websites for the commercial cleaning and kitchen industries.

From 2001-2002 Brett worked for Planning Group International as an Internet application developer. In 2003. Brett was promoted to Manager of SEO of Planning Group/Sapient and built the SEO/SEM department, overseeing organic search and paid search for Fortune 100 clients.
