I used it to save my HD at work that would have taken the IT department over a week to fix and we still would have lost weeks of work. I also used it to save a HD that had all my daughters mp3s on it and now use it about twice a year on all my drives so I don't have to worry about crashing HDs. Also, you don't have to worry about what you did with the disk you saved it on. I have saved my purchase email receipt and I can D/L it anytime I want and btw if you loose your reciept GRC will help you find your key! Try that with Microsoft or any other vendor.
