For a free version I wouldn't recommend AVG. Once infectedit can't detect the viruses even if it has the latest updates. I would preferusing AVAST, the free version is better than AVG free. |

Most free scanners aren't worth salt, you're better off putting down some money for a good-quality one.

I agree Dartz, I also recommend paid antivirus. Zone Alarm Internet security suite is best solution IMO i am using it and it blocks all attacks caused by hackers and other unethical internet users. Zone Alarm update it's antivirus definitions 3-4 times daily. You can get your copy for $44.99 and feel secure. |

I am using Microsoft's Live One care. It has everything in it. It has got anti-virus, spyware, malware protection. It also deletes temp files on regular basis to maintain the computer speed. You can download the 90 day trial from microsoft's website.

I don't like using Microsoft's Live One. It uses huge memory space like Norton AV. I'm currently using NOD32. I find it better than the other AV software's that I've tried.

Live One was made by Microsoft, nuff said. Like I said, I paid for mine, and if you pay for it, you have paid people working behind it, and it comes with protection by law.
