Asus launched this new mini laptop installed with a 8.9 inchLCD monitor; it can be installed with a Linux or windows XP OS. Honestly I'malready having a hard time encoding on my laptop, so why would I even choose asmaller one.

yeah i agree i would rather go for a medium sized notebook than a super slim and small one.. If that is for online work then its not ideal but could be good for quick access when your on the road.

The smaller the notebook, the easier to move around. I don't think I would mind a small notebook but I like the bigger ones. If I had a choice I would choose bigger over smaller.
