Im just wondering your views on this matter. Personally my main aims in devlelopment of new applications are accisibility and usability, as such if a function can be performed on the server without performance issues thats were ill put it.
With the advent of "Web 2.0" their has been a huge revival in the use of Javascript in ajax functunality. Im well aware that modern browsers have pretty solid support of javascript and that the majority of modern web users understand the need to have the latest browsers and plugins. But still worry a great deal about how my pages will be viewed by those who are less savvy or unable to use javascript for other reasons. Am i alone on this? How do you overcome these issues? |

No need to worry your pages can be easily viewed by the person by installing java virtual machine on the server.

Sorry sanjay you have misunderstood the question, Firstly i am discussing Javascript not Java, Javascript is installed with all modern browsers as standard. Secondly i am discussing the people who cannot simply install/enable plugins for reasons listed in my first post.

Java and Javascript are two different things? Huh, all this time I thought that one was just an abbreviation for the other. Care to enlighten?
