It has been a few months since Left 4 Dead first launched, but so far information on downloadable content has been nill. That changed earlier this month, when new Left 4 Dead DLC, aptly named Survival was announced in a Valve press release. According to the press release, the survival pack is set for release sometime this spring, and will contain two new versus maps, or rather the re-releasing of the two non-versus campaigns (Death Toll and Dead Air) for use in versus mode. R.I.P. The Worlds No.1 Video Game Magazine Popular gaming site 1up.com was recently purchased by UGO/Hearst. Due to the buy-out, the long running Electronic Gaming Monthly publication has been put out of print due to a lack of demand. And to top that off, up to thirty staff members were put out of jobs, including but not limited to the EGM staff. Castle Crashers is a side scroller beat em’up in the vein of the old Teenage Mutant Turtle Arcade game. Sold on Xbox live for 1200 Microsoft Points, Castle Crashers is published by The Behemoth, and developed by Tom Fulp (programmer/creator of Newgrounds) and Dan Paladin (Artist), the same people that crafted the sleeper hit Alien Hominid.
